Lingering Madness

I am proud of my country for the first time in 8 years. I am so happy right now.

I voted around noon. Got it done in two minutes flat. There were only two operating polls, but no line at all. It was all fancy touch screen. In our little town.

Now I'm sitting back, about to watch the craziness of the night for as long as my tired eyes will let me. *crosses fingers*

Oi! And here I thought we'd get through this debate without a single 'listen my friends' but alas, we were not that fortunate. We also were unable to avoid the the whole 'look at my scars' tagline of McCain's.

I, again feel that Obama was composed and intelligent in his responses while McCain was twitchy, circular in his remarks and abrasive. I just can't express how wrong McCain is. We *need* Obama to win or we're all royally screwed. Why isn't this obvious to everyone else? Why?

When someone comes up to me and starts a sentence with 'listen my friend' I quickly punch them in the face. Why? Because they're about to spread some bullshit. Maybe that's why McCain needs the tiller.
